Each year the Omaha-Metro area comes together to celebrate the lives and contributions of those who are part of the LGBTQIA2S+ communities with Heartland Pride and the Heartland Pride Parade.
This July, UNO's Gender and Sexuality Resource Center is inviting members of the UNO community to participate in the Heartland Pride Parade, which takes place on Sunday, July 10, with the theme "Let's get back 2gether."
In order to be mindful of health and safety guidance due to COVID-19, including physical distancing, there is a limit of 50 participants to participate in this year's parade. Registeration is first come, first served.
Interested in walking in the parade? Take a few minutes to fill out a short registration form. You will be provided with additional information closer to the date.
