The Prize Patrol surprised Broyhill with the award on June 16, 2020.
Broyhill was nominated by her peers for her innovative ideas and excellent interpersonal skills.
They said, “Kristin is regularly coming up with proposed program changes leading to both student success and greater learning. We now have a regular number of students around the country who enroll in our Master’s program. Kristin was one of the department’s lead thinkers on both identifying this opportunity for us and changing our degree offerings to take advantage of it.”
They continue, “Kristin has strong interpersonal skills and communication. Given that much of her job involves communicating with large numbers of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, the rapid growth in our program that has continued since she started is a sign of her strength in these areas.”
For being nominated as Employee of the Month, Broyhill will receive a certificate, lapel pin, hot/cold tumbler, portrait, monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event and use of a designated parking space.Employee of the Month nomination information
