Join the Department of Black Studies and the Office of Multicultural Affairs for "Kwanzaa and Donning of the Kente," Monday, Dec. 9 from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. in the Milo Bail Student Center Ballroom.
Kwanzaa is a pan-African holiday which celebrates family, community and culture from Dec. 26 - Jan. 1.
Donning of the Kente is a cultural achievement ceremony celebrating the graduation of students who recognize their African roots.
Come learn about the culture and principles of this wonderful holiday, in addition to celebrating our December graduates. All students, faculty, staff, and community are welcome to attend. Food will be provided.
