You are invited to listen to International Professional Development (IPD) Trainees give their Capstone Presentations Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 10 A.M. - Noon in the MBSC Gallery Room (3rd floor).
International Program’s IPD offers an intensive eight-week course, focusing on professional English and leadership for internationals from both abroad and from our own community. The IPD trainees meet with business and community leaders and organizations each week to enhance their understanding of U.S. business practices.
As a key component of the program, the trainees choose a professional topic from their area of expertise and build toward a 15-minute Capstone Presentation to a large audience. We invite you to participate with us as part of our audience. You will not only be able to meet our IPD trainees, but learn from their topic research, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback to the speakers.
Capstone Presentation topics for this session are as follows:
- Anytime and Anywhere: Learning English Online
- Climate-smart Agriculture: Adapting Agriculture to Climate Change
- River Stone Custom Homes: Building Your Dream Home from the Ground Up
- Entrepreneurship: Find Your Passion and Follow Your Dream!
