Do you want to help make a difference in the culture surrounding political learning and engagement on campus? Come ‘dialogue’ with fellow members of the UNO community to help UNO continue to be an open, inclusive, and politically engaged campus!
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend and help create a UNO "action plan 2020" for political learning and engagement. Dialogue will take place Monday, Nov. 18 from 11:30 A.M. - 1 P.M. in the MBSC Dodge Room. Lunch will be provided.
In partnership with the American Democracy Project & Tufts University, UNO has undertaken a project to evaluate political learning and engagement on campus. Previously conducted focus groups with faculty, staff, and students found that while there is a strong culture of community engagement and an openness to address controversial issues, some challenges still exist. Dialogue will continue to discuss how UNO can continue to be open, inclusive and politically engaged.
