UNO's Heartland Philharmonic Orchestra presents "Night of French Romantics" on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 P.M. in the Jan & John Christensen Concert Hall within the Strauss Performing Arts Center.
This first performance of the academic year will consist of three orchestral works representing the French Romantic style including Massenet's Overture to Phedre and Saint-Saens' Marche Heroique. Guest artist, Dr. Larry Taylor, will join the orchestra and music director Dr. Matthew Brooks on UNO's beautiful Casavant organ to conclude the concert with Guilmant's Symphony No. 1 for Organ and Orchestra.
Tickets are $5 general admission, $4 for students/seniors/military, and UNO students are free with their MAVcard.
