The UNO chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) invites the UNO campus community to join in the festivities. This year’s "La Notte Italiana" Benefit Dinner and silent auction takes place on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 6 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. at Security National Bank Community Room located at 1120 S. 101st St.
La Notte Italiana relies on generous donations from Italian restaurants in the Omaha metro to provide delicious Italian cuisine. The local Italian restaurants donating this year are Mangia, Pasta Amore and Lo Solo Mio. The event will also include a silent auction with a variety of packages to bid on. This year, the auction packages range from sports to spas to, “date night,” and “Around Omaha.”
The fundraiser helps to pay for the chapter’s participation in national and regional conference travel as well as service projects. The chapter will also hold its annual Santa Paws fundraiser for Hearts United for Animals on Saturday, Dec. 7, at The Bookworm.
Tickets cost for adults and faculty are $25; $15 for students and $5 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be reserved by contacting Karen Weber, UNO faculty adviser, at kweber@unomaha.edu or purchased at the door the day of the event. Donations are also accepted. Checks can be dropped off or sent via campus mail to UNO PRSSA in Arts and Sciences Hall, Room 140.
