The Accessibility Services Center (ASC) and the Academic and Career Development Center (ACDC) will be co-hosting a training by Mary Matusiak and Angela Fujan from Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation to learn more disability in the workplace and reasonable accommodations. The training will be Wednesday, July 24 from 10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. in CPACS 132.
Mary Matusiak and Angela Fujan, who serve as Program Directors for Nebraska VR, will be delivering a presentation to academic advisors and the campus community on topics ranging from disability etiquette, disability and the workplace, as well as reasonable accommodations and assistive technology. Nebraska VR is a statewide agency serving individuals with disabilities by helping them to prepare for, find and keep competitive and integrated employment while also working with businesses to recruit, train and retain employees with disabilities.
