The Red Cross is rallying hundreds of volunteers to team up to install free smoke alarms in North and South Omaha. The UNO Department of Public Safety is partnering with the Red Cross in this effort.
Every day, 7 people die ifrom home fires and more lives are lost every year in home fires than all major disasters. Once a fire starts a person onlhy has two minutes or less to get out safely. A smoke alarm cuts the risk of death or injury in half. Listed below are the date and locations for the events. If you have any questions; you can contact Michael Francis, Disaster Program Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also contact Sgt.
