The UNO Bands will present a concert on Friday, April 20 at 7:30 P.M. in the Strauss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. This concert will include performances by the University Band and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble featuring music by Norman Dello Joio, Percy Grainger, David Maslanka, Steven Bryant, Christopher Theofanidis, and Frank Ticheli.
Conductors on the program include Dr. Karen Fannin, Director of Bands and Dr. Joshua Kearney, Director of Athletic Bands. Graduate conducting assistant Jess Watson will guest conduct.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and free with a MavCard.
