The counseling department’s Upsilon Nu Omicron chapter is sponsoring a free symposium titled “Symposium on Counseling, Mental Health, & Behavioral Health Careers in P-12 Schools".
The symposium will be Friday, March 9 in the IDEAS room in Roskens Hall from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., with appetizers from 5:00 P.M. - 5:30 P.M.
RSVP for this event
This is a great opportunity for both school counseling and clinical mental health track students. An expert panel of presenters, including the counseling department’s own Dr. Luther and adjunct Mr. Tim Hron, will be outlining the key features of the distinct types of counseling and behavioral health careers in P-12 school systems.
It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about school counseling and school-based mental health counseling careers while learning more about the other mental and behavior health disciplines you would interact with in the schools.
