"We're honored to play in such an important event with Creighton and to help so many people in need after the devastation brought on by the recent hurricanes in the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands," Omaha head coach Derrin Hansen said. "We're grateful to Coach McDermott for the invitation to support such a great cause. He and I have participated in other philanthropic events together over the years, and this is another example of how our two institutions and basketball programs can impact others at a national level."
