Stop Kiss is a play about how love wins:
Sara moves to New York City from a suburb outside of St. Louis to teach at an inner-city public school in the Bronx. When she drops off her cat, Caesar, at the apartment of a friend of a friend, Callie Pax, the two unexpectedly fall in love. When their first kiss provokes a brutal attack, leaving Sara hospitalized and in a coma, Callie must discover the inner-strength she never knew she had to advocate for her partner who can no longer advocate for herself. Stop Kiss induces emotional whiplash as it charts a funny, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting path to self-actualization.
The cast includes: Emily Hill as Callie, Sam Mashek as Sara, Mike Burns as George, Garett Garniss as Peter, Charleen Willoughby as Mrs. Winsley/Nurse, and Matt Drushal as Detective Cole.
