About the Awards

The Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) awards will be presented at the 2023 Legendary Leaders Awards Luncheon; deadline for nominations is Jan. 6, 2023. Consider nominating a person or organization for one of the following Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) awards:


CCSGE Outstanding Achievement Award

Recognizes UNO faculty or staff that have advanced women’s and/or gender equity issues.

Submit your nomination


CCSGE Community Service Award

Recognizes a non-profit organization or exemplary individual with a connection to UNO that has advanced women’s and/or gender equity issues.

Submit your nomination


CCSGE Undergraduate Student Scholarship

Awards $1000 to a current UNO undergraduate student who is making a contribution or bringing attention to gender equity issues.

Nomination Deadline

All nominations and applications must be submitted by Jan. 6, 2023.


Awards Presentation

Awardees will be honored at the annual CCSGE Legendary Leaders Awards Luncheon. More information about the event will be available soon.
