Access to parking and walkways near Arts and Sciences Hall will be temporary restricted on Thursday, May 16, as renovations continue on the building.
Lot W, on the east side of Arts and Sciences Hall, will be closed from at 6 a.m. to approximately noon and the sidewalk running parallel to the building's east side will also be closed.
Anyone normally utilizing this lot for ADA parking is encouraged to use alternate options in Lot V on the top of the East Parking Garage or in Lots E and D north of the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center. Lot W will reopen for normal parking operations after 11 a.m.
That same day, from approximately noon to 4 p.m., the sidewalk west of Arts and Sciences Hall, from the East Parking Garage to the north side of building, as well as the sidewalk running alongside the south of the Pep Bowl, between Arts and Sciences Hall and Sapp Fieldhouse, will also be closed.
All closures on both the sidewalk and parking lots are scheduled to conclude at approximately 4 p.m. on May 16.
Note that the exact times for opening or closing of access may vary depending on construction related variables.
In the event of inclement weather these closures will be rescheduled for a later date that will be shared with the campus community.
