The 2018 annual benefits enrollment materials are being sent out today by Central Administration (UNCA) so check your junk folder if it doesn’t arrive in your inbox. NUFlex is once again paperless, so benefits-eligible faculty and staff should remember to check their UNO e-mail account. Annual enrollment this year is from Monday, Oct. 30 until Friday, Nov. 17. Participants may not make changes after 5:00 pm on Nov. 17.
Participants can make changes to their 2018 NUFlex benefits by using Firefly Employee Self Service at https://firefly.nebraska.edu. Be sure to read the information at the Start Page for Annual Enrollment in Firefly Employee Self Service.
Please print out or save the confirmation statement at the end of the enrollment process and check it to make sure you have completed the enrollment correctly. If you have voluntary life insurance, you must update your tobacco designation. If you wish to participate in the Flexible Spending Accounts, your annual pledge amount must appear on your confirmation statement. The minimum Flexible Spending Account pledge for the year is $480 and the maximum is $2,650 for health care and $5,000 for dependent day care.
