About the PSLF
PSLF forgives the balance of many federal student loans if the borrower:
-
Makes 120 on time, eligible payments (including those made under an income driven repayment plan);
-
Has eligible loans (Federal Direct Loans, including Parent PLUS Loans, and loans that have been consolidated into the Federal Direct Loan program); and
-
Is working for an eligible employer.
UNO encourages employees repaying Federal Direct student loans to consider PSLF as an option.
