Full-time and retired employees who wish to continue their education may be eligible for tuition assistance through the employee scholarship program. Spouses and dependent children may also be eligible for this benefit through the dependent scholarship program.
Thinking about applying for the Employee or Dependent Scholarship Program? Here are some key items to keep in mind:
- The Dependent Scholarship Program is limited to undergraduate academic credit courses at any University of Nebraska campus.
- To be eligible for the Dependent Scholarship Program in the fall and spring, dependents must be enrolled in classes full time. To be eligible for the program in the summer, dependents must have been enrolled in classes full time the preceding spring semester.
- The Employee and Dependent Scholarship Programs do not cover normal admission and matriculation fees, books, or class supplies.
- Each employee has a maximum of 15 credit hours per academic year to allocate between employee, spouse, and dependent children.
