With the start of the new school year, there’s no better time to see what the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) can provide to assist in your pursuit of wellness.
What is Wellness?
Simply stated, wellness is overall well-being. It’s more important than ever to nurture the whole person and balance your life using the 8 dimensions of wellness.
The Health, Physical Education, and Recreation building got a make over this past year with the addition of the Wellness banner in the front window as well as the donation of
the Maverick Monument in the HPER plaza.
Wellness at UNO
The vision of the Wellness Subdivision is to be a catalyst in making UNO the healthiest campus in the country through collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and the Omaha community by providing desirable wellness programs and services. We will create and sustain a healthy campus culture that educates, motivates and empowers UNO students, faculty, and staff to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Read all about wellness at UNO by viewing the Fall 2014 edition of The Bullseye -- A publication of the UNO Division of Student Affairs.
