The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) Outdoor Venture Center (OVC) challenges participants to reach beyond their perceived personal limits physically, mentally and socially. It fosters appreciation for the natural environment, develops leadership abilities, and encourages relationship growth.
The OVC offers a variety of adventure activities for the UNO community and the general public. The OVC includes a state of the art climbing wall, rental center, and organizes between fifteen and twenty trips and workshops each semester, ranging from local workshops to advanced overnight trips in activities such as rock climbing, paddling, hiking, camping, skiing and biking.
