UNO, High Schools Partner for Goodwill Fashion Show
As part of UNO's Service Learning Academy, UNO's P-16 Initative has paired UNO public relations students with textile students from Omaha North High School and Omaha Central High School and Goodwill Omaha to put on and promote "Sew in Style" - special fashion show featuring the design work of high school students using clothing up-cycled items from Goodwill,
The fashion show is closed to the public, but open to media and begins at 12:30 p.m. inside UNO's new Community Engagement Center on the Dodge Campus.
UNO's P-16 Initiative brings together UNO with educational partners to combine community service and learning objectives.
