Want to make a difference in your community, but not sure how to take action? Learn about what young leaders from Southeast Asia are doing to change their communities and our world for the better.
UNO is currently hosting a five-week Institute on Civic Engagement through the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) thanks to a grant from the United States State Department. The 22 participants represent nine countries and have impressive backgrounds as activists, journalists, teachers, and more.
They will present about issues facing their communities in the region and their action plans for addressing those issues.
Come meet this impressive group of emerging leaders and learn more about Southeast Asia and civic engagement around the world.
Lunch will be provided. Students, faculty, staff, and community members welcome to attend.
