The Division of Innovative and Learning-Centric Initiatives aims to support faculty by showcasing the exciting work being done in online teaching, focusing on the online environment at UNO.

What Are Faculty Presentations?

Faculty showcase the exciting work they are doing in their online courses at a campus-organized professional development event.

What Can I Present On?

Faculty can present best practices in pedagogy, engagement, and/or technology they use that enhance the online learning experience for students. Topics can include (but are not limited to):

  • Innovative Online Course Design
  • Increasing Student Engagement
  • Interacting with students effectively and efficiently
  • Using Technology to improve an Online Course
  • Gamification of their Course
  • Creating Community in the online environment
