Why UNO and Digital Learning
Having the opportunity to get an education changed the options I had in life. Knowing that the work I do with faculty every day makes a difference in the educational opportunities for students in college now makes that work so rewarding, especially knowing that helping faculty develop high-quality online courses and broaden the availability of higher education for individuals who might not otherwise be able to take advantage of it. The work I do is truly the legacy I’ll leave behind.
Interests and Hobbies
I am an avid knitter; I always have at least three projects in the works. I also like to make fused glass art, jewelry, and read science fiction and fantasy.
I am also rather fond of international travel and feel fortunate to have visited Delhi, Dublin, Dubai, and Istanbul. Much closer to home I am a critter mom to Eric the Red and Garth, my orange tabby cat boys, and Dog Blossom, my Goldendoodle girl pup.
Vacation Spot
Any vacation is a good vacation, particularly if my husband, Jason, is with me. My favorite vacation so far was getting to spend a week with him in Dublin, Ireland.
