Campus Software Purchasing & Installation
Microsoft Office is available for all University owned computers. If you need it installed, please contact your department technical support staff. Any other Microsoft purchasing for departmental is done through eShop. Please speak with your department business manager to place an order.
Adobe Purchasing for Departments
The University of Nebraska has recently signed a contract with Adobe that has license the Adobe Creative Cloud for use on all computers owned by UNO. Adobe Creative Cloud is a yearly subscription that allows the user to download and use many of Adobe's most popular software titles. To have this software package installed on your office computer or University owned laptop please speak with your department tech person.
This contract also allows faculty and staff to purchase a home copy from our online software sales partner, On the Hub. To purchase and download Adobe Creative Cloud for home use please go to http://www.unomaha.edu/buysoftware
Statistics Packages for Departments
Statistics packages can be purchased by departments only. Licenses run one year, starting July 1 of each fiscal year and must be renewed each year to continue using the software.

Campus Hardware Purchasing
UNO uses three manufacturers for computer hardware: Apple, Lenova, and Dell. Apple purchases are made via the Apple Education website. Lenova purchases use the GovConnect portal in Eshop. Dell purchases are also made using Eshop. They have their own portal. For all purchases please speak with the technical support staff in your area.

Information Technology Services provides direct technical support for several departments, including Grad Studies, International Studies and Programs and Athletics. We also partner with the colleges to provide software for University owned computers.
