New Year, New LMS - Canvas Training 2018
The UNO Digital Learning Team has the following training oportunities scheduled. More up-to-date details can be found at http://UNODigitalLearning.eventbrite.com
Explore Canvas and earn a Black Belt with our Kung Fu Panda Online Course. This online course begins on the first Monday of each month and runs for 6-weeks. It's completely online and largely self-paced so you can work on it when your schedule allows. As you learn about Canvas, you'll be completing assignments while creating your own course in Canvas.
Attend a "Canvas Basics" training session and then stick around to work on your courses during our Canvas Drop-in Sessions. Canvas Basics is a 2-hour session that gives you a broad overview of the system and how to get started with creating or moving courses into it. Our drop-in sessions give you a chance to stop by and get your specific Canvas (or any academic tech) questions answered, or just use the space to work on your own with a couple of Canvas "experts" close by to ask for help when needed. Canvas Basics sessions are often offered on Friday mornings from 9-11 with Drop-in sessions immediately following from 11-3. For current dates of these sessions and all training offered by the UNO Digital Learning Team check out http://unodigitallearning.eventbrite.com
Pump Up Your Courses with Digital Learning Workouts! This summer the UNO Digital Learning Team will be offering 9 different 5-day Digital Learning Workouts. Each session is completely online and only takes about 20 minutes per day of your time. Sign up for one, sign up for them all. No matter how much you do you’ll come back to campus in the fall with a more sleek and toned digital physique, ready to take on the fall semester! Sessions begin each Monday during June and July.
