Annual Review

Annual review is a process which evaluates faculty members' activities for the current year and determines merit increases for the next year. 

Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT)

Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure is a process which evaluates faculty members for continuous appointment, and guides tenure decisions. 

 

Academic Program Review

Internal program reviews are an integral part of UNO’s assessment and planning processes for the unit, college, and university. Every academic program offered at UNO will be reviewed at least once within a seven-year cycle.

Faculty Workload

Learn more about the policy that determines the scheduled workload assignments for faculty members. This policy was established pursuant to Section 3.1.3.1. of the contract between the University of Nebraska Board of Regents and the University of Nebraska at Omaha Chapter, American Association of University Professors. 

Faculty Honors & Awards

UNO values its faculty, and recognizes its outstanding faculty members with a variety of college, campus, and university-wide awards.

New & Revised Academic Programs

Proposals for new academic programs or organizational units should be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs after college and departmental approval. Academic Affairs will guide the proposals through the appropriate internal and external review procedures.
