Biography
Kimber (she/they) began working in higher education in 2017 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2019 they returned to Omaha and began working at their alma mater, UNO, and joined the Center for Faculty Excellence team. Outside of work, Kimber spends time with their husband and three cats while dabbling in creative projects.Education

During their time at UNO Kimber has coordinated hundreds of workshops (in-person and online) for CFE and has had the pleasure of organizing the New Faculty Welcome events. They currently serve on the Staff Advisory Council as the Director of Operations and previously served as the chair of the Professional Development Committee.
Kimber enjoys that their role allows them to foster an inclusive environment where both faculty and staff can access tools that directly contributes to the success of UNO's campus community.
