STEPs History

Angela has been with STEPs as a Program Evaluator since January 2021 and has worked with the following community partners or programs: Completely Kids, Rape/Domestic Abuse Program (RDAP), and Rape Prevention and Education (RPE). Some of the reports on which she has collaborated can be found here, on STEPs’ Digital Commons.

Education

Angela completed her Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management in 2018 from University of Nebraska Omaha. During the program, she collaborated with her colleagues in working with Omaha’s nonprofit community, conducting evaluations and strategic plans. Angela has worked in higher education for over 10 years, serving as an adjunct instructor and administrative assistant. She also holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in philosophy.

Professional Interests

Angela is passionate about serving and collaborating with the Omaha community.  She aims to center social equity in all she does and to pay particular attention to who is absent from conversations. With a background of philosophy and nonprofit work, Angela is attuned to the experiences of work on-the-ground as well as healthy skepticism which informs her passion for process evaluation. She especially is passionate about doing work that uplifts, supports, and improves the experiences of all women, girls, and people at the margins.

Something Personal

Angela serves on two nonprofit Boards of Directors. She has an 11-year-old rescue pup named Huey who is a perfect combination of grumpy old man and feisty puppy. She loves to cook and bake and hopes to be able to feed her friends and colleagues very soon.
