Federal and State Court Procedures
United States Magistrate Judge Michael D. Nelson will be a guest speaker for the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 5:30pm in CPACS 132 to talk about federal and state court procedures.
Judge Nelson has worked as an attorney in private practice for more than 25 years. He currently serves as a United States Magistrate Judge, being appointed to the bench in 2017. He graduated cum laude from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a bachelor of science degree in criminology and criminal justice. He earned his juris doctorate from Creighton University.
