Dr. Campagna Consults with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services
In February of 2020, NCJR Research Associate Dr. Michael Campagna began consultation services to the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) non-clinical programming unit. This project is termed “Technical Assistance Provisions for Corrections” (TAP-C) and focuses on assisting NDCS to improve case management in their facilities. As a national expert in correctional risk assessment and case management, Dr. Campagna is primed to assist the NDCS in integrating their community risk assessment into case management plans to provide the right interventions to the right individuals and lower the population’s odds of recidivating. He is also tasked with improving the case management training academy curriculum. TAP-C is currently funded for one year.
