Associate Director Changes
NCJR Associate Director Emily Wright, Ph.D., recently joined the Office of Research and Creative Activity as the new Assistant Vice Chancellor for Social Sciences. Wright, who has been NCJR’s Associate Director since 2016 will continue her faculty role with Criminology and Criminal Justice in addition to serving as assistant vice chancellor. Congratulations Emily on your new post!
With Emily’s departure, Zachary Hamilton, Ph.D. assumes the position of Associate Director in NCJR. Hamilton’s background in applied research and collaborating with criminal justice and correctional agencies fits nicely with NCJR’s existing research and evaluation agenda. He also has previous center experience from his nine-year tenure as Director of the Washington State Institute for Criminal Justice Research. Welcome Zach!
