Ph.D. Alumna Connie Koski Selected as a Brock Fellow
Connie Koski, who earned her doctorate in criminology and criminal justice from UNO in 2013, was recently selected to be among the first-ever Brock Fellows at Longwood University (Farmville, Virginia) where she serves as an assistant professor of criminal justice. Brock Fellows are charged with creating immersive, citizenship-focused courses at sites around the United States in order to provide students with unique learning experiences. Dr. Koski will pair up with her colleague, Renee Gutierrez, Ph.D., to create a place-based course on immigration.
