Matthew Mullen holds a doctorate in Human Rights and Peace Studies. He is the founder of Article 30, an organization that deploys the human rights-based approach in development and business settings. Mullen has published on an array of topics including oppression, resistance, vulnerability, resiliency, transitional justice, violence, and security. He is the author of Pathways that Changed Myanmar, Zed Books, and acted as project lead and editor of Navigating a New Era of Business and Human Rights. From 2016-2019, Mullen worked closely on a Small-holder Farmer Centric Investigation of the Ethiopian Dairy Sector for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
