Hillary is currently employed as the director of development for Joslyn Art Museum, where she joined the staff in March 2014. As a member of the senior executive team, her job responsibilities include creating and executing development strategies and tactics for the successful identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors across all funding areas. Hillary has over sixteen years of experience professionally fundraising and grant making for various organizations in the Omaha community.
Hillary is committed to giving back to the community and has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees. Currently, she is active on the following nonprofit boards: board member and Mid-America Conference chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Nebraska Chapter, president of the Opera Omaha Guild Board, and advisory board member for Filmstreams. She also serves as an adjunct faculty for the UNO College of Public Affairs and Community Service.
Hillary is a graduate of Omaha North High School. She earned a BA in Political Science from San Francisco State University, participated in the Museum Studies Certificate Program from Harvard University, and earned a Masters in Public Administration in nonprofit management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She also attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy which allowed her numerous travelling opportunities throughout the world. In 2008, she received her national Certification in Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. Hillary was a 2002 Ten Outstanding Young Omahan recipient, a graduate of Leadership Omaha Class 28, and the 2009 Conference for Inclusive Communities Volunteer of the Year.
Hillary re-located back to Omaha in June 2000 from the east coast, and currently resides in the Dundee area with her husband John and their ten-year-old daughter Sophia and twin six-year-old daughters Arianna and Helena.
