2020 Census in Nebraska
2020 Census News
It might seem like a long way off, but the 2020 Census is right around the corner. In March 2020, census forms and postcards allowing online completion of the census for the first time will be in the mail. Many things will occur between now and the “Census Day” of April 1, 2020 to ensure that each person and housing unit are counted once, only once, and in the right place.
The Center for Public Affairs Research and Nebraska State Data Center is helping to organize activities related to the 2020 Census.

Boundary and Annexation Survey
The Boundary and Annexation Survey is an annual opportunity for tribal, state, and local governments to submit changes to legal boundaries, names, and governmental status of their jurisdictions. The first key deadline for the BAS is March 1 of each year. If that is missed, it is still important the information be submitted by the final deadline of May 31. Read the flyer.
