[Virtual] Werner Speaker Series: Pandemic-Driven Supply Chain Innovations
Join the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Information Science and Technology and the College of Business Administration in a discussion with Werner Enterprises about supply chain innovations that have been spurred on as a result of the pandemic.

Behind the scenes of clicking "buy now" on any number of e-Commerce sites, advances in technology are innovating the world of logistics management. In order to not be left behind, organizations will have to adapt to new technology and meet the needs of customers. Learn directly from Werner on how leaders of tomorrow will be required to create a new frontier of efficiency in order to see success.

Andy Damkroger is vice president of IT Strategy and Operations for Werner Enterprises. Damkroger began his Werner career in 2003 and has held various positions in Operations, Intermodal, Logistics, Business Development and Technology. Damkroger is from Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration.

Daragh Mahon

Daragh Mahon is the EVP and CIO of Werner Enterprises, where he leads Werner’s global IT strategy, operations and innovation. Daragh has more than 20 years of IT and strategic leadership experience, previously serving as SVP of Global IT and Business Applications for Vonage. In this role, he led the company's overall IT and applications strategy and was the driving force in moving all Vonage information systems to public cloud-based on SaaS platforms.
Darren Cockrel
Darren Cockrel brings Mastery a track record of success from technology and operations, with startups to the Fortune 50, with third party logistics (3PL) organizations to large retailers.
Darren joined Coyote Logistics as CIO in 2013 and was part of the team that scaled to over $2B in a few short years. Coyote was acquired by publicly traded $60B United Parcel Service (UPS) in 2015. After the acquisition, Darren took on the role of President of UPS Supply Chain Solutions Technology in addition to continuing as CIO of Coyote Logistics.
As CTO of Mastery, Darren and his team are leading the way for large shippers, carriers and logistics service providers to have improved communication, operational connectivity, and facilitated resource optimization through the Mastery cloud-based SaaS offering.
Darren was awarded Technologist of the Year from ITA City Lights in 2017. He has an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
