National Robotics Week

Want to build the next self-driving car? Would you like to know how a robo-surgeon operates with perfect precision? Are you excited about programming a smart device like a robotic chef for your home? How about a robotic hockey player?
If these questions interest you, you are not alone. Robotic technology and products like these are being used extensively in different fields such as transportation, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing and national defense and security. Thousands of students of all ages across the United States are learning and using robotics to engage in various science technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities, and pursue careers in STEM-related fields.
If robotics excites you or you are just curious to know about robotics, join us at UNO on April 14, 2017 (Friday) to celebrate Robotics Week to engage in some fun-filled activities:

This event is targeted towards middle school students. Registration is free but required (spaces are limited). No prior experience with robotics is required. Come, enjoy and learn!
These activities are a part of National Robotics Week - a week-long series of activities organized throughout the United States to increase awareness about robotic technology and its impact on the future of United States and the world.
