Admission to the University
The Office of Admissions reviews and processes all undergraduate applications and transcripts for admission. The College of Education admits those freshmen students who have "Assured Admission" status and transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Admission to Specific College of Education Majors
Students admitted to the University as undergraduate students interested in teacher preparation or speech-language pathology are admitted as pre-majors. Upon completing identified course work and establishing the specified collegiate grade point average, students must apply for admission to the major. Admission is selective. Please check on your major area of interest for specific information. Individuals interested in a teaching endorsement in social science must complete the teacher preparation application as well as the application to the specific area.
