The University of Nebraska at Omaha has been actively monitoring the rapidly evolving novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and providing regular updates to the UNO community as the situation changes. The health and safety of our community continues to be our primary concern in this fluid situation. At this time, a majority of campus-sponsored events are canceled or postponed through the end of the Spring 2020 semester. Please continue to visit unomaha.edu/coronavirus for daily updates provided by UNO.
The Early Childhood Education team at UNO's College of Education invites UNO faculty and community partners to participate in this year's Early Childhood Education Research Symposium (formerly the Play Research Symposium). We are looking for colleagues to share their research in the field of early childhood issues through a brief presentation and interdisciplinary panel discussion.
Updated date TBD.
- Brief presentations by interdisciplinary UNO faculty and community partners
- Panel discussion and Q&A with UNO researchers
- Open to the public with free parking in the East Garage
Attendees will discover what research tells us about key aspects of early childhood education and care—play, development, learning, family engagement, importance to healthy and equitable communities.
