On Wednesday, April 11, faculty and staff from the Department of Biomechanics will welcome students and teachers from around the Omaha area for National Biomechanics Day (NBD). The children and teens will participate in kid-friendly demos, tour the labs of the Biomechanics Research Building, and meet the Biomechanics research scientists.
NBD is a world-wide celebration of Biomechanics for students and teachers, creating synchronized celebrations among participating labs and biomechanics facilities. This year's theme is, “Science Meets Fun on National Biomechanics Day.” The hugely successful 2017 NBD engaged over 7,000 students and teachers from schools around the world in exciting outreach events.
