General Information
Biography
I have been a Department Chairperson of the Addiction Studies Bachelors Program at Nebraska Methodist College. I am a Past President of the Nebraska Counseling Association and serve on numerous mental health boards in Nebraska. I have been a grant reviewer for the Department of Education in Washington D.C. since 1998. I am a member of the Professional Standards Committee for the American Counseling Association.

Research Interests
My research includes the use of transactional analysis and whole brain balancing with a diverse client population including Islamic women with cancer, schizophrenics, prostituted women, and school children who have been sexually and physically abused. I am currently completing books on couples counseling and emotional risk taking and family therapy for Muslim families living in the United States. I published a relationship book in 2012 and working on a book focusing on Transactional Analysis and Couples Counseling.
