Scripts for nonlinear analysis
The code below is made available by the Division of Biomechanics and Research Development at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. it is provided freely so that nonlinear analysis, our specialty, can be used more widely. If you do use these scripts or modifications of them please make sure to credit the Division of Biomechanics and Research Development along with the website and date accessed.
Much of the analyses below are derived from or inspired by existing work in the academic literature. Where applicable, these are included in the comments within the individuals scripts. Those same comments provide instructions for use and details on the development of the code. We ask that you please consult these comments first before contacting us for assistance. If you do need assistance please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nonlinear Analysis are derived from higher levels of math and while some of the code may seem simple, much of the applications and background will be complex. We advise that you consult the literature to better understand these applications and background. The Nebraska Biomechanics Core Facility, part of the Division, also provides a week-long annual Nonlinear Analysis Workshop where we educate participants on these methods. To register, please visit our Annual Nonlinear Analysis Workshop webpage.
