General Information
Biography
Dr. Kuhn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her primary area of interest is early childhood special education, and she has been involved in research regarding promoting family-professional partnerships to address developmental, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of young children. Dr. Kuhn is a nationally certified school psychologist, and has had experience as a Head Start family educator and a primary grade teacher.

Service Summary
Dr. Kuhn serves on the Curriculum Committee of the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. She is a member of the College of Education, Health, & Human Sciences Retention, Promotion, & Tenure Committee and two university committees-- the Educational Policy Advisory Committee and the Academic Freedom & Tenure Committee. Dr. Kuhn is also a member of the advisory board for Bethlehem Covenant Preschool in her community of Waverly, NE.
