Megan Timanus is an Instructor in the Art & Art History program specialization in Typography and Digital Illustration.
Before becoming an Instructor of graphic design and media arts, her work specialized in commercial branding and assistance in the design of award-winning campaigns for high-profile clients, such as the Joslyn Art Museum, Omaha Performing Arts, The Archdiocese of Omaha, and the Girl Scouts of America.
Later, she worked for a Lincoln, NE-based printer and supported local businesses and individuals, designing personalized marketing campaigns, printed on hand-made paper created in the shop.
She began teaching in 2013 at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE for their Graphic Design/Media Arts program and in 2015 joined UNO, teaching advanced typography skills and graphic design to students in UNO's School of the Arts.
