UNO CBA Sales Spring Event Schedule
- Kick-Off Night -Tuesday, February 25th
Pitch competition, networking dinner, and an ethics lecture start of the semester with a bang. Each student will give a 60-90 second pitch to a judging panel on why they make a great sales hire. After round one, students and partners will enjoy some time to discuss what it's like to have a career in sales. While the guest lecturer is speaking, finalists will compete in the last round to see who will be the grand champion of the pitch competition. Prize money and certificates will be awarded at the end of the evening.
- Sales Role Play Competition – Thursday, April 23rd
Professional Selling students act as the buyer in a ten-minute role play with a sales professional. Rapport, needs assessment, objection handling, and closing skills will all be on show. Students look forward to receiving feedback after the event and prize winners are selected.
- Final Presentations (Pecha Kucha) - Exam Week, May 5 & 7
Open, spontaneous, fun, informal, silo-breaking - words used to describe how PechaKucha brings people together to laugh, learn and connect. Students work on a topic personal to them to create a short presentation evaluated by the peers in their class.
