The 11th Annual Maverick Business Plan Competition is a competition that stands out to employers and your peers. Contestants may enter as individuals or as a team of four or less. To compete, contestants must submit a brief business plan before April 6th, when judges will select six business plans to advance to the finals. Finalists will attend a coaching session to gain valuable feedback before pitching their business to a panel of judges in the finals. The competition will take place via Zoom webinar on April 13th.
Many winners come from outside the college of business administration. The competition allows students to gain critical thinking, teamwork and public speaking skills.
