Marian Kaiser is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, earning B.S. degree in English and Education. She earned a Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She earned a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a certificate in arts administration and management from the University of Massachusetts in Amhurst. Kaiser is also a bilingual speaker of Czech and English and possesses some conversational ability in French.
Kaiser owns WriteWorks, Inc., a consulting business offering services in writing, editing, and grant writing. Her professional experience includes serving as Corporate and Foundation Manager for the Omaha Performing Arts Society, teaching high school and college English and Oral Communications, serving as Executive Director of the Bluffs Arts Council, and filling the position of Assistant Director of the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCCJ) Midlands Region (now known as the Conference for Inclusive Communities). Kaiser and a business colleague have received a grant to write a book, on which they are now working.
