North American Korean Philosophy Association
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to the homepage of the North American Korean Philosophy Association (NAKPA). NAKPA is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 to bring together scholars from all over the world who share an interest in Korean philosophy, both traditional and contemporary, and to promote the study of Korean philosophy more generally.
For this purpose, NAKPA supports conferences and other activities related to Korean philosophy. It also sponsors panels on Korean philosophy at annual meetings of the American Philosophical Association. We also hope to start a journal of Korean Philosophy in the near future.
