The Nebraska Chapter of the Scholars Strategy Network (SSN) is a chapter of the national SSN network, which connects journalists, policymakers, and civic leaders with America’s top researchers to improve policy and strengthen democracy.
Join the Nebraska SSN for a virtual Chapter Meet and Greet led by chapter leaders Dr. Lissette Aliaga Linares (CAS) and Dr. Jodi Benenson (CPACS) on Sept. 23 from 1:00-2:00 P.M.
This event offers an opportunity for Nebraska-area scholars interested in applied and policy-oriented research to learn more about the Nebraska chapter of the SSN, how to become a member, and other ways to get involved.
Please contact chapter leaders Dr. Lissette Aliaga Linares (email@example.com) and Dr. Jodi Benenson (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
More about Nebraska SSN
Nebraska SSN was launched in 2020 with a group of interdisciplinary and civically engaged scholars and leaders from colleges and universities across the state. Through partnerships between scholars, the media, policymakers, and civic leaders, we seek to contribute to more effective and equitable policymaking. Particular areas of interest include social policy, immigration, poverty and inequality, civic engagement, and governance at the local, state, and national levels.
